Iris Telehealth is seeking PMHNPs licensed in Virginia to provide care to patients in a community mental health outpatient setting for 16 hours a week. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team at one of Iris’s behavioral healthcare partners, expanding access to quality care. You'll be able to collaborate with experts in psychiatry, neurology, and psychology, and be supported by an experienced administrative team—so you can focus on what matters most: patient care.
About the Role

Setting: 100% Remote | FQHC outpatient clinic located in Virginia

Schedule: Mon–Fri, 16 hrs/wk | flexible within 8am-5pm EST

Patient Population: Ages 5+ with moderate acuity and diagnoses include anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, bipolar, IDD, mood disorders

Appointment Times: 60 min. for initial visits, 30 min. for follow-ups for children & adolescents, 20 min. for adults

Collaborative Environment: We are seeking a flexible provider who excels in teamwork and communication, working closely with a dedicated and supportive care team to meet patient needs effectively. This behavioral health team is fully integrated with the medical and dental services of this partner.

Qualifications:

An active PMHNP-BC license in the state of Virginia is required

Minimum of 2 years prescribing experience post PMHNP Certificate issued preferred

Availability for 16 hours per week, with the ability to work during EST hours.

Experience and willingness to treat patients ages 5+

Experience and comfort treating patients across varying acuity levels

PMHNP ANCC Board Certification (We do not currently offer any opportunities for PMHCNS)

Telepsychiatry experience preferred (experience with E-clinicalworks a plus)

Reside in the U.S. or a U.S. territory
